ING SOLIDARITY AWARDS 2022 – 10th anniversary

  • Solidarity is not an empty word at ING in Luxembourg!

On Thursday 8 December 2022, 7 non-profit organisations stepped on stage to be awarded prizes during the 10th edition of the ING Solidarity Awards!

Empowering the Luxembourg non-profit scene

As every year, ING's objective is to support and promote the Luxembourg non-profit sector, which often still lacks the funds and resources to achieve its objectives, despite the remarkable work they are carrying out.

The contest

This year, the seven-member jury selected four projects in two categories, each of which received a cheque of 5,000 €. In addition, the jury had the possibility to award a share of the 10-year prize (an extra 10,000 €) to 3 more associations, and each of these 3 projects received a prize of 2,500 €. One of these 3 associations could win an additional 2,500 € thanks to the public vote, which decided which project was supported by a total of 5,000 €.

The categories

  • Financial inclusion: Any project of entities working to improve the financial condition of individuals, for example through education or social and economic integration.

  • Environmental protection: Any project by institutions working to protect the environment, for example by counteracting the effects of climate change.
